Renovation of a detention facility in Manson, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
General Scope: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for a complete and operating Building Management System (BMS), utilizing Distech Direct Digital Controls as shown on the drawings and as described herein. All controllers furnished in this section shall communicate on a peer-to-peer bus over a BACnet/MSTP open protocol bus. Controllers shall be of one manufacturer and the latest version as of the date of the bid. The intent of the contract document is to provide a system that is consistent with BMS systems throughout the owner's facilities running the Niagara 4 Framework. This may be a new system or an expansion of an existing system. Any scope of work-related questions, clarifications, or assumptions made that would change the drawings or specifications shall be submitted during the bid package review period. Responses to pre-bid scope of work-related questions, clarifications, or assumptions will be issued in an addendum so that all bidders have an opportunity to review. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to deliver their sealed bid to the proper location and at the appointed place and time for the bid opening. Late delivery for any reason including late delivery by the US Postal Service or other delivery service shall disqualify the bid. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 90 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
