The City of Duncanville is seeking to enter into an engineering services contract with a state-registered engineer. The contract would provide for comprehensive engineering and planning services in the implementation of a Texas Water Development Board project. Paper - One (1) complete, original copy (signed in blue ink where required) and Three (3) copies and One (1) electronic copy on a USB or jump drive. The project will include the following: creation of an inventory of every water service line in the City of Duncanville's distribution system, including both utility owned and customer owned service lines. The Lead Service Line Replacement will meet Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements. To meet the City's schedule, it is extremely important that requests for clarification or additional information be submitted online to Elton Brock, Chief Procurement Officer, in writing by email at elton.brock@duncanvilletx.gov by the date indicated in Section 2.6 Schedule of Events of this RFQ. In the email subject please indicate 'RFQ 24-0024 TWBD LEAD PIPE PROJECT - ENGINEERING SERVICES'. Requests for clarifications submitted after this date may not elicit a response. This is a single award contract. The awarded engineering firm term will be for one year or a twelve-month (12) period based upon satisfactory performance and the annual availability of an appropriation. All awards must be approved by the City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and is not bound to accept the lowest proposal, if in the opinion of the City Administrator, such an award would not be in the best interest of the City.
