Bid Documents can also be obtained in PDF form Online Transportation of 6 - W16x45 steel beams, 40' long, from the Adair County Highway Department yard near Kirksville, Missouri to your fabrication shop. Adair County will provide staff and equipment to lift and set the W16x45 girders on a semi-trailer. The fabricator is responsible for securing and transporting the load. Cut the girders to length as shown in the attached plans. Hot-dip-galvanizing of superstructure, OR, one coat of zinc-rich primer followed by one coat of compatible top coat. Furnish and deliver galvanized bolts, washers, and nuts for structural steel assembly. Furnish and deliver neoprene bearing pads. Furnish and deliver - cut to length pieces - approximately 70 S.Y. of 1 1/2" metal decking to set between the bridge girders on the angles welded to the sides of the girders. The component sizes, location, and installation requirements are shown on the attached plans prepared by Howe Company, LLC for the Missouri Trail bridge (No. 2280005) project.
