Renovation of a municipal facility in Warren, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 28,500-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.

The attention of all Bidders is particularly called to the requirements and conditions of construction to be observed and minimum wage rates paid under this contract. Successful Bidders will be required to pay at least minimum wage rates predetermined by the State of Ohio for the project work as required. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all contract requirements for Equal Employment Opportunities. All Bidders must fill in all blanks of the proposal in ink or submit a typewritten proposal. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. Each bidder shall be required to file with his bid guaranty in one of the following forms (1) A bond, for the full amount of the bid; or (2) A certified check equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid; or (3) A cashier's check equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid; or (4) A letter of credit, pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. A Contract Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the estimated cost of the work conditioned, which includes (but is not limited to) the assurance that the contractor will perform the work upon the terms proposed, within the time prescribed, and in accordance with the plans and specifications. A Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the estimated cost of the work conditioned for the payment by the contractor and all subcontractors for labour performed and materials furnished in connection with the project involved. The contract work includes furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and services necessary for the completion of the project. All work shall be done as shown on drawings called for in the description of the work and in a manner directed by the specifications, in the City of Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. Project completion time is critical. The Contractor is requested to submit with his bid a preliminary estimate of construction duration. 2. The final construction schedule is to be developed by the Contractor in coordination with the Owner as described in the contract documents. The schedule will be based upon the agreed start and completion dates. D. Scope of Work 1. The Bid shall provide for all work necessary to deliver to the Owner a complete facility as herein described except for that work or material which is specifically excluded. 2. The Bid shall provide for on-site supervision during all phases of construction. Question Deadline 09/09/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions regarding the Construction Documents should be submitted to the Architect in written form (Email is acceptable and preferred) The Architect will endeavor to address all questions . Responses will be distributed to all General Contractors registered with Dimit Architects.
