The Alhambra Dog Park project includes converting the newly acquired lot 4 to open green spaces for large dogs and small dogs. Creating a dog playground with different surfaces such as synthetic turf, concrete or DG walking path, play features, shade, and seating. The project will include the following: o Large dog park with double entrances o Small dog park with double entrances. o Secure Fencing o Seating areas with shade structures at both parks. o Walking paths throughout both parks. o Dog play features. o Ground surfacing with irrigation possibilities. o Parking lot area. o Switch back ADA ramp to the upper lot. o One Unisex restroom. Questions regarding this proposal shall be submitted in writing via email by 5:00 PM, Friday July 12, 2024. In response to all questions received by this date, City will issue an Addendum no later than 3 days prior to the proposal submittal due date. The addendum will be emailed to all RFP recipients on record, and posted on City's website under City Bid Notices/RFPs. Late submittals will be rejected. All responses must be completed as required, signed by an official or firm who is authorized to enter into a binding agreement with the City on behalf of the company. City Council Award of Contract August 26, 2024 Project Start Date September 23, 2024 All other expenses incurred by a proposer/consultant prior to the date of award and a formal notice to proceed. The City reserves the right to amend, withdraw and cancel this RFP. The City reserves the right to reject all responses to this request at any time prior to contract execution, or only award a partial contract for a limited scope of work. The City reserves the right to request or obtain additional information about any and all proposals. The City of Alhambra is interested in receiving proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare all necessary plans and to provide to the City of Alhambra a complete PS&E Bid Package ready for bidding.
The scope of services to be provided by the selected consultant for this project includes the following.
A. PS&E Phase Services: All necessary services to prepare a complete PS&E bid package which is approved by the City of Alhambra and other involved regulatory agencies and is ready for construction bidding. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
