On-Call Floor Care Services for Palm Springs International Airport. The term of this contract will be for 3 years, with 2 one-year options to renew at the City's sole discretion. liquidated damages. Such liquidated damages shall be computed with respect to each individual laborer or mechanic, including watchmen and guards, employed in violation of the clause set forth in paragraph (1) of this clause, in the sum of $29 for each calendar day on which such individual was required or permitted to work in excess of the standard workweek of forty hours without payment of the overtime wages required by the clause set forth in paragraph (1) of this clause. After award of the Bid by the Palm Springs City Council if necessary, a Notice of Award letter and Agreement will be sent to the successful Bidder for execution and return. The successful Bidder shall provide all Certificates of Insurance, Bonds, if required, within fourteen calendar days. B. This solicitation and its subsequent contract has the potential to be funded by Federal funds provided by the FAA and other federal agencies and therefore is subject to all applicable federal requirement as outlined in the sample contract. The Bidder must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience providing floor care services of commercial, institutional and/or industrial facilities (non-residential). The City of Palm Springs reserves the right to waive any informality or technical defect in a Bid and to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all Bids and to cancel all or part of this IFB and seek new Bids, as best serves the interests of the City. The City furthermore reserves the right to contract separately with others certain tasks if deemed in the best interest of the City.
