HPW - Westheimer Work Orders for Small Diameter Water Lines Estimate: $4,000,000.00 Project Scope 1. Work of the Contract is for construction of water main extensions in various locations throughout the City of Houston. The Scope of Work will be determined by Work Orders issued from time to time. 2. The location of the Work will not be determined at the time of the Bid, but will beestablished by Work Order issued from time to time. The possible locations of the Work will not include the Central Business District, bounded by U.S. Hwy. 59 and I.H. 10. 3. The Drawings for the Work have not been prepared. Drawings showing the Work to be performed will be issued with each Work Order. The Project will consist of both open cut and auger construction, as noted on the Drawings. 4. Work includes valves, fittings, connections, fire hydrants, and appurtenances as shown on the construction drawings, Project Manual and/or instructed by the City Engineer and for construction of the service lines. The work also includes site and pavement restoration, tree protection, storm water pollution prevention and traffic control inrelation to the construction of the water lines.
