Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor, not applicable for this bid, in California pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the appropriate classification(s) of contractor's license(s), for the work bid upon, and must maintain the license throughout the duration of the Contract. This job requires a "B" license. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bid process. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall perform within the time stipulated the contract as herein defined, and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility services, and transportation and perform and complete in a workmanlike manner If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the specifications, or other Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in, or omissions from the specifications, that person may submit to the Architect/District a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof In the event that an addendum or bulletin, setting forth-material changes, additions or deletions, is issued when there is seventy-two (72) hours orlessto the bid deadline, the District will extend the bidding deadline by at least seventy-two (72) hours. RFI Due July 16, 2024-2:00 p.m. a. The flooring cove base color is Gray and the glue for the flooring is to be provided by the District. b. New receptacles in rooms 52, 53 and 56 are not dedicated. c. The short throw projector relocated from room #4 to room 53. will not require power to operate. d. TV mounts that are to be installed in rooms 52 and 53 will be provided by the contractor. e. Walls to be framed with wood 2x4 framing. f. Wall attachment will require kickers from top plate to the existing structure. Walls will be uninsulated. g. The two (2) new doors to new offices in rooms 1 and 4 will be 36x80 solid core with a 2-foot by 2-foot solid window. h. The District will provide and install the locks and door handles on both new doors. i. Room 1, window in the new office, is to be operational. j. Any exterior wood that will need to be replaced prior to painting will be replaced by the District.
