General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Onsite Maintenance Required - Prevailing Wage Required - Safety Standards Plan - Samples Required - Warranty Information Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 10 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % -- Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by either cash, a cashier's check or a certified check, amounting to not less than ten percent of the bid, payable to the order of the City of Pleasanton or by a bond for that amount and payable in the form contained in this bid package. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment Lions Wayside and Delucchi Park Renovations, CIP No. 06716 Page 2 bonds, each in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a maintenance bond not less than ten percent (10%) of the contract price. Contractor's License Classification As provided in California Business & Professions Code Section 7028.15, the City has determined that at the time of bid, the Contractor shall possess a valid Class A General Engineering Contractor license. The Contractor's failure to possess the specified license shall render the Bid as non-responsive and shall act to bar award of the contract to any Bidder not possessing said license at the time of bid, unless exempted by federal or law. *The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine which bid is, in the City's judgment, the lowest responsive and responsible bid of a Bidder or group of Bidders. The City also reserves the right to waive any inconsequential omissions or discrepancies in any bid and to delete certain items listed in the bid as set forth therein. Costs for developing, submitting, and presenting bids are the sole responsibility of the Bidder and claims for reimbursement will not be accepted by the City.
