Approximately 3.0 Miles Micro Surface (estimated 37,729 SY) This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities indicated above and in the contract bid form are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. All work on this contract shall be substantially completed this construction season as weather allows. QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Bidders shall file Contractor's Qualification Statement seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening. BID SECURITY: A certified check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Grafton in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent or more than ten (10%) percent of the bid shall accompany each bid as guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the Contract Performance Bond and Insurance Certificate as required by this contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of the Contract by the Village. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding or accept any bid or bids which, in the opinion of the Village, shall serve the Village's best interest. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time and date set for the opening thereof, without the consent of the Village.
