The City will verify the status of the contractors license by checking the Contractor State License Board (www.cslb.ca.gov). The contractors license and business must match. This verification includes information on any outstanding Board disciplinary action pending against the contractor. This Project is subject to prevailing wages and related requirements as a public works under California Labor Code Sections 1720 et seq. and related regulations. Contractor is required to pay general prevailing wages as defined in California Labor Code Section 1773.1 and Subchapter 3, Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations Section 16000 et seq The intent of this project is to a) upgrade aging infrastructure related to traffic signal operations including traffic signal cabinets, video detection systems, and accessible pedestrian signal (APS) pushbuttons, b) to implement an automated traffic signal performance measurement (ATSPM) system to monitor and optimize operations on an ongoing basis, and c) [TO BE DONE BY OTHERS] develop and implement an optimized time of day coordinated signal timing plan Question Deadline 07/11/2024 at 3:00 PM PT City's Responses to Questions:July 18, 2024 It is anticipated that Work on the Project will be required to commence on or about 09/01/2024.
