This Request for Supplier Qualifications 04-07-2024 ("RFSQ") is an invitation by British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. ("BC Ferries") to identify and prequalify up to five respondent(s) for structural concrete repair and restoration services. This RFSQ is Task 1. The first assignment through a RFP process is Task 2; and will likely be concrete repair and restoration of the elevated concrete structures at our Horseshoe Bay terminal in West Vancouver, BC; further described in the Appendix A - RFSQ Particulars. The primary service location is the Horseshoe Bay Terminal, but based on our sole discretion, the prequalified respondent(s) may have the opportunity to participate in concrete restoration services at other BC Ferries premises. Through this RFSQ, BC Ferries intends to retain qualified respondents capable of completing structural concrete repair and restoration projects at our HSB terminal. Typical scope could include, but is not necessarily limited to Design & installation of temporary shoring; Restoring structural concrete on elevated deck surfaces, on soffits of suspended slabs/ beams, and on vertical support columns; Repair, replacement, or installation of supplemental concrete reinforcing steel; Installation of galvanic anode or other cathodic protection systems including anode monitoring stations; Installation of waterproofing membranes; Removal and replacement of elevated concrete slabs, including steel-concrete composite decking; and Replacement of expansion joints Demolition of structural concrete Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
