Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in The Woodlands, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project is located at the intersection of Grogan's Mill Road and Research Forest Drive. This project adds a right hand turn lane onto Research Forest Drive, leading into Grogan's Mill Road. This also includes a crossing sidewalk in the turn lane, with all related appurtenances as per TxDOT specifications. The proposed project includes grading, treated subgrade, base, asphalt pavement, drainage, signing and pavement markings. The above description of the scope of work is general in nature and is only intended to provide an overview of the project. The complete detailed scope of work and bid items are contained in the plans and specifications. The contractor will have 65 calendar days to complete the project. This project shall be constructed under the Montgomery County General Conditions with (1) Special Specification and the 2014 Texas Department of Transportation Technical Specifications. All bids shall be submitted on the basis of lump sum as provided in the bid specifications. Payment to successful bidder shall be net thirty (30) days after receipt of products, materials, services or invoices, whichever is later unless otherwise stated in specifications. The right is reserved, as the interest of Montgomery County Commissioners' Court may require rejecting any one or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. All bids received after the above designated closing time will be returned unopened. A Bid Bond from an approved surety company-holding permit from the State of Texas will be required. The Bid Bond must be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and must accompany each bid. If applicable, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project.
