DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labors necessary to complete the work. This project includes the following items of work including earthwork, seeding, fencing, drainage, concrete and asphalt paving, ballfield preparation, and other items all as shown on construction plans and specifications prepared by Brandstetter Carroll Inc. Project Funding: This Project is Federally Assisted. Contracts to Be Awarded Under This Invitation for Bids Will Be Subject to Federal Laws and Related Acts That Are Referenced in This Bid Package. Document Notes: This cost does not include shipping of the original bid documents but does include the cost for shipping of any addenda. Cost for shipping expenses of the original bid documents would be added to this fee. Bidding documents are sold as complete sets; no partial or incomplete sets can be purchased. Payment for the bid documents and shipping details shall be arranged through ARC. No refund will be allowed for the return of any bidding documents at any time. The Office of the City Engineer will NOT have any plans available for sale. BID SECURITY: The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The contractor will have until December 15, 2024 to complete milestone work with final project completion being May 31, 2025. PREVAILING WAGES: The contractor and any subcontractor must comply with the prevailing wage rate requirements on public improvements as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with Federal-Aid requirements. Please note it is the Contractor's responsibility to be aware of current wage rates for public improvements in Lorain County.
