Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lynbrook, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of 9/26/24, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded 1/24/25. Installation, Operation, Maintenance, and Management of a Level 3 Charging Station to Service Eight(8) Dedicated Parking Spaces With the Option for Four(4) Additional. Interested vendors (Offeror) for the installation, operation, maintenance, and management of a Level 3 charging station to serve eight (8) dedicated parking spaces in municipal Parking Field #8 with the option of four (4) additional. Offerors must demonstrate a level of expertise, technical knowledge, innovation, and overall capacity to provide a selfservice electric vehicle charging station service. The Village will designate certain parking spaces on a Village owned and maintained surface parking lot that will be available for the Offeror to install the electric vehicle charging station at no cost to the Village. The Offeror will lease each parking space from the Village for an annual Lease fee of $3,000 per parking space and 3% of gross revenue per parking space. The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a qualified electric vehicle charging station distributor/operator/manufacturer for the installation, operation, and maintenance of eight (8) dedicated parking spaces as shown in Attachment C. The selected Offeror will be required to implement a program which should enable the public to utilize Level 3 electric vehicle charging stations. Services would be provided on a 24-hour, 365-day-a-year (full-time) basis with sufficient resources and personnel to successfully support and maintain the program. Service-disabled Veteran-owned Set Aside: No The Village understands that the Offeror is investing a sizable amount of capital to build and maintain the charging station, and therefore, will provide a contract term long enough to allow the Offeror to amortize said costs. This contract therefore will be awarded for a period as proposed by the Offeror. The Village of Lynbrook reserves the right to modify the proposed project schedule as it deems in the best interest of the Village. The Village of Lynbrook reserves the right to cancel this RFP and to reject any or all proposals. The Village also reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal received and to award to the Offeror whose proposal is, in the opinion of the Village, in its best interest.
