Work under Contract 2024-01 covers the furnishing of all labor, material, plant, utilities, and services required for the construction of public drinking water facilities and appurtenances. The project is located in Washington and Fayette County. (Base Bid) Low Hill is located in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The location of concern is within East Bethlehem Township. This location consists of the demolition/removal of the existing 8" main distribution line, fittings, and valves, installation of new 8" ultrasonic meters including new pipe/fittings as needed, and installation of a MIU (meter interface unit) and pit antenna. This site will additionally require installation of a meter vault/manhole and any associated concrete, asphalt, and lawn restoration necessary. The start-up of the meter will require coordination with equipment representative. (Base Bid) The location referred to as "Luzerne" is in the town of La Belle, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. This location consists of the demolition/removal of the existing 6" main distribution line, fittings, and valves, installation of new 6" ultrasonic meters including new pipe/fittings as needed, and installation of a MIU (meter interface unit) and pit antenna. This site will additionally require installation of a meter vault/manhole and any associated concrete, asphalt, and lawn restoration necessary. The start-up of the meter will require coordination with the equipment representative. (Base Bid) The location referred to as "Lumber Yard or Millsboro" is in the town of Millsboro, Washington County, Pennsylvania. This location consists of the demolition/removal of the existing 8" main distribution line, fittings, and valves, installation of new 8" ultrasonic meters including new pipe/fittings as needed, and installation of a MIU (meter interface unit) and pit antenna. This site will additionally require installation of a meter vault/manhole and any associated concrete, asphalt, and lawn restoration necessary. (Alternate Bid) The "Suzy Lane" Vault includes a location near the Beallsville/Richeyville town line, which is in Washington County, Pennsylvania. This location consists of the demolition/removal of the existing 6" main distribution line, fittings, and valves, installation of a new 6" ultrasonic meter including new pipe/fittings as needed, and the installation of a MIU (meter interface unit) and pit antenna. Existing vault access will need to be coordinated with TCJMA. Additionally, start-up of the meter will require coordination with the equipment representative. (Alternate Bid) The location referred to as "Vestaburg" is near the Vestaburg town tank, which is in Washington County, Pennsylvania. This location consists of the demolition/removal of the existing 8" main distribution line, fittings, and valves, installation of a new 8" ultrasonic meter including new pipe/fittings as needed, and the installation of a MIU (meter interface unit) and pit antenna. Additionally, the vault hatch will be replaced, a fence will be put around the perimeter of the vault, and the two control valves within the vault will be removed. Existing gate and vault access will need to be coordinated with TCJMA. Additionally, start-up of the meter will require coordination with equipment representative.
