Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mondovi, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project 1: Excavate and Repave 170th Avenue from 1010th Street to east town line. Total project length approximately 1320 feet. 1. Pulverization of existing pavement. Approximately 3025 square yards. 2. Preparation of roadway subgrade. Salvage of base course and fragmented pavement. Lump sum bid required for this item. 3. Crushed limestone base course added to create a total thickness of 6 inches of base course, compacted. Approximately, 760 tons required. 4. Machine compaction, watering, and fine grading of road base. Incidental to Item 3. 5. Placement of asphaltic pavement, 2.5" compacted thickness, 20 feet wide. Approximately 445 tons required. 6. 2 feet wide crushed limestone shoulders compacted. Approximately, 115 tons of gravel required. 7. Milling of joints at south and north ends of project. Approximately, 40 linear feet. Incidental to Item 2. This project construction to be scheduled either between August 19 and September 4 or after October 7, 2024 American Rescue Plan Act funds will be used to help finance these projects. The Town of Rock Creek reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bid bond required.
