This project is a single-wide mobile home located in Puyallup, WA. CDM# 8802 Job Specifications Note: This job includes electrical work - any contractor bidding on this work must hold an electrical license or subcontract with a licensed electrician. This project is a single-wide mobile home located in Puyallup, Washington. The residence was built in 1971 and is in good condition. The residence is 1,344 SqFt. Roof is a newer membrane and is in good condition. The home has combustion appliances targeted for replacement. Pierce County Human Services staff will meet winning bidder on-site prior to work beginning. Installation of weatherization measures outlined in attached pricing spreadsheet. Work includes electrical measures. All work is subject to local codes and jurisdictional rules. Lead-safe work practices are expected. Contractor will perform all work outlined in scope. Subcontractors are allowed. The contractor is responsible for obtaining any and all necessary permits. The contractor is responsible for filing intent/affidavits. Pursuant to weatherization program rules; no sales tax will be charged on materials installed. Installation must meet the Department of Commerce requirements for weatherization. The Contractor shall provide material warranty and specifications to the County and homeowner. The following weatherization measures are to be installed as part of this project as indicated on the attached Excel Pricing Sheet. a. R-30 - Floor Insulation Fiberglass Blow b. Insulate All Pipes to Specification R-3 Inc. H2o Tank Pipes c. Insulate All Pipes Off H2o Tank Only (Min. 6 Ln. Ft.) d. Priority Air Sealing. Block End Runs & Mastic. Seal All Registers with Mastic to Ensure Duct Leakage Is Very Minimal. Weather-Strip Wood Doors, Seal Around Breaker Boxes. Crawl Work: Seal Other Major Penetrations Identified While Doing Prep Work. If Boots Are Exposed in The Crawl, Apply Mastic to Seal. Single Wide. e. Blower Door Guided Air Sealing, Cost Per Cfm of Reduction f. Replace Existing with New Bath Fan: Fv-05-11vk Panasonic Whisper Green Select (50/80/110 CFM) - Or Equivalent Dc Motor g. Variable Speed Continuous Flow Fan with Booster Switch- h. Add Light to New Panasonic Whisper Green Select Fan i. Add Condensation Sensor to New Panasonic Whisper Green Select Fan j. Run New Wire Down to Switch Box for Boost Control Only k. Extend Existing Fan Thru Attic & Roof to Dampered Cap in Metal Vent Pipe l. Replace Existing Wall Fan in Mobile Home Kitchen with Appropriately Sized Unit. (Size Includes Height, Width, Depth). m. Co Detectors Sealed Lithium Battery n. Ionization Smoke Alarm Sealed Lithium Battery o. Replace Outlet p. Run A New Wire for Switch q. Cut In a J-Box r. Add 20 Amp Circuit to Include a Min. Of 20 ' Of Romex s. Replace 60 Amp Breaker t. DHP 12,000 Btu's Cold Climate u. Upgrade to A 2 Head Outdoor Unit (Standard) v. Add A Second Indoor Head with All Accessories 9k w. Heat Pump Hot Water Tank Ducted In/Out, To Code, Insulate Pipes x. Hourly Rate for Repairs (Contractor Will Be Reimbursed for Materials) This contract may not exceed $50,000, including all fees and taxes. We require that the prime contractor perform at least 75% of the work in this project. We will not be hosting a pre-bid walk-through for this procurement. Please bid based on information provided. The start date of this procurement will be determined by program staff and the winning bidder. Projects are to be completed within 90 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed by program staff.
