a) A bond for the full amount of the bid; or b) A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305, Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of TEN PER CENT (10%) of the bid. The successful vendor must replace the ten percent (10%) bid bond with a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond upon award of the bid. The Board estimates the project will be Substantially Complete by May 30, 2025 The county commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity of bids, should same be to the advantage of the county. Questions and inquiries concerning this bid shall be directed to Barb Asberry at asberryb@mcohio.org. Only written questions received via email will be accepted. The deadline for questions is Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 12:00 pm Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as "Montgomery County Project Name" and MUST HAVE THE FULL NAME AND ADDRESS of the bidder on the envelope. ***Prebid meeting: The bidder recognizes that the purpose of the pre-bid conference is to resolve ambiguities, inconsistencies, errors or omissions in the contract documents, and interpretations thereof shall be made with a preference to the accomplishment of the purpose of the contract, without additional cost to the Board.
