Site work for a water / sewer project in Pleasanton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will consist of boring a 24" Steel Casing Pipe, approximately 70 l.f., under Goodwin Rd. at the City's Goodwin Rd. Water Plant Site. The project also includes installing approximately 80 l.f. of 12" PVC Carrier Pipe inside the casing, complete with casing spacers, end seals, and appurtenances. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable Surety. A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Owner may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Bids must be submitted on forms furnished. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the above scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Questions with regards to "Goodwin RD. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" with the Owner and to fully complete the project within __TWENTY-ONE (21)___ consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages the sum of FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($500.00) for each consecutive calendar day thereafter until completion of the project. In the event the quantity of work is reduced, this time requirement will not decrease. Any bids received after closing time will be rejected and returned to the bidder unopened. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bid and to reject any or all bids. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of the furnishing of all labor equipment, labor and materials for GOODWIN RD. WATERLINE BORE FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, TEXAS. Time of completion is Twenty-One (21) calendar days. Prices bid for the items of this project will include all necessary labor, equipment, materials, clearing, removal of excess materials, cleanup, and permits to construct and complete the items as outlined in the plans and specifications. The project will consist of the boring a new 24” Steel Casing with 12” PVC water line carrier pipe under Goodwin Rd. adjacent to the City’s Goodwin Rd. Water Plant and New Well Site in the City of Pleasanton, Atascosa County, Texas. Project location is shown in the Construction Specifications. The Contractor will be responsible for hauling, handling, and protection of all materials.
