As described in the Statement of Work, the project consists of demolishing, removing, and replacing four 8.5ft long sections of damaged concrete irrigation ditch. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business set-aside. To be eligible for award, interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $45M. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 30 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
