General Project Description In general, the work shall incorporate all necessary labor, material, equipment, and supplies for the reconstruction of approximately seven (7) miles of existing pathways along with other incidental work and site work as required to complete the work per the project plans and specifications. Pathway is to be reconstructed to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. Bid Documents Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and be clearly marked, attention to: Pathway Reconstruction Project. All bid prices shall be guaranteed firm for a minimum of ninety (90) calendar days after the submission of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening date. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond acceptable to The Brooks of Bonita Springs Community Development District or Cashiers Check made payable to The Brooks of Bonita Springs Community Development District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, will be required. Guaranty Bonds in the form of Public Construction Bonds, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract will be required. The Brooks of Bonita Springs Community Development Districts reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in a bid and to make awards in the best interests of The Brooks of Bonita Springs Community Development Districts. Estimated construction cost is as follows: Base Bid Total: $2,850,000 Bid Alternate Items: $945,000 Pathway Realignment Base Bid: $91,000 Pathway Realignment Alternate Items: $99,000 Question Deadline 07/20/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing.
