Site work and paving for a civil project in Dakota City, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Approximately 1,244 feet of roadway grading, culvert pipe installation, concrete apron construction, gravel surfacing, seeding, erosion control and other incidental work. The selected bidder shall furnish necessary equipment, transportation, labor, materials, and incidentals required to complete the work as per the Contract Documents. The Project Site is located at the intersection of Highway 35 and S Avenue, and continues north for approximately 1,200 feet. Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. Each bidder will be required to submit bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the Treasurer of Dakota County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to ve(5) percent of the accompanied bid proposal. The bidder shall include with its bid proposal an estimated start date and completion date for all work on the project. The Contractor will be allowed forty-ve (45) calendar days for project completion. The desired completion date of the project is December 1, 2024. Dakota County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
