The City of Fairhope is requesting responses from qualified vendors to construct renovations of an existing residential building into a public Nature Center for the Flying Creek Nature Preserve. The existing building is located at 22430 Main Street, which is now the Northwest corner of Flying Creek Nature Preserve. The project entails the renovations of existing rooms into new public restrooms, offices, reception, lobby, and meeting/classroom spaces. Scope of work includes a new fire sprinkler system, new plumbing and water heating, new HVAC, and new attic insulation within the existing building, as well as comprehensive upgrades to lighting, insulation, door hardware, and interior and exterior finishes.
