Notice to Proceed September 24, 2024 Substantial Completion May 27, 2025 Final Completion June 24, 2025 Project Description: 1. Fire Alarm System: a. Design intent is for general compliance with the latest edition of WCPSS Design Guidelines, Section 28 31 11 - FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS. b. The existing fire alarm system must remain in place and functional until the new system is in place, functional, and inspected acceptably. c. If any portion of the existing system is to be out of service during installation of the new system, coordination of fire watch requirements is required with the local Fire Marshal. d. Duct detectors: Design intent is for installation of duct detectors in air handling systems rated 2000 CFM and greater. e. Carbon monoxide (CO) detection and alarm is required in spaces with fuel burning equipment or appliances. 1) Local CO alarm notification shall be made by detector sounder bases. 2) CO alarm shall be reported to the fire alarm panel as a Supervisory notification. f. Remote communication of alarm, supervisory, and trouble indications is to be handled by a Bosch Model B465 universal dual path communicator for transmission over Ethernet (IP) or cellular network.
