DSE Harvie Hill Deep Foundation Subcontractor Pre-qualification. This overall project is intended to provide a new above-grade water standpipe at the Harvie Hill Reservoir site. The scope of work associated with this RFSQ includes, but is not limited to the following: - Construction of a deep foundation with caissons (Intended to be 600 mm to 900 mm in diameter, to a depth of 15 m); - Construction of a retaining wall around the above grade water standpipe; - Installation and inspection of rebar for deep foundation, pile cap, tank foundation; - All associated earthworks involved with the deep foundation, foundation, and retaining wall; The remaining scope of the project will be completed by a pre-qualified General Contractor, and will include, but is not limited to the following: - Supply and Installation of new 500 and 600 mm CPP watermains including live tapping to existing 600 mm CPP watermain; - Supply and Installation of four (4) subgrade valve chambers; - Construction of a new pre-cast control building including electrical works and standby emergency generator; - Supply and installation of any process mechanical, fittings, valves, and appurtenances; - Electrical and I&C works including lighting, receptacles, and associated works; - All associated site works including utility relocation (hydro, fiber), excavation, backfilling, grading, swales, siltation, control works, and material and equipment storage; - Decommissioning (not demolition) of the existing reservoir; - Commissioning of the potable water system including pressure testing of watermains and disinfection of piping and tanks. Documentation from the contractor's surety provider confirming the bonding capability for a project range of $8 million to $12 million for 100% Performance and 50% Labour and Material.
