The Rosemary Road Reservoirs provides potable water storage for the City of Orillia drinking water system for Pressure Zone 1. Over the past several years, a deterioration of the free chlorine residual has been significant in the summer months, requiring additional operational resources to address it. This project will review the operation of the reservoirs to determine the cause and make recommendations to address the challenges. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by the owner. The awarded Consultant will provide the Rosemary Road Reservoirs Mixing Study. The proponent must be a single legal entity that, if selected, intends to negotiate and enter into the contract with the City. If the proposal is being submitted jointly by two (2) or more separate entities, the proposal must identify only one (1) of those entities as the proponent. To contact the City in relation to this RFP, proponents must initiate the communication electronically through the bidding system. Enquiries must be made prior to July 29, 2024 4:30 PM (EDT). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
