Site work for a civil project in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 13, 2025, this was completed in February 2025. The City of Gainesville d/b/a/ Gainesville Regional Utilities is soliciting quotes from interested parties capable of removing an existing septic system and installing a new system at McMichen Substation. The existing septic systems is blocking access to critical electrical equipment. Determine location of existing septic system components. Remove existing septic tank Install new septic tank Confirm if existing drain field can remain or if relocation or modification is necessary Coordinating any required permits prior to the start of the project All materials ordered are subject to inspection and test by GRU. GRU shall have the right to reject or to require correction of material found not to conform. At GRU's option, rejected material will be held for the Supplier's instruction or, at the Supplier's risk, returned at the Supplier's expense.
