DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Yong Lab is an approximately 1,500 SF Laser Lab within the basement of Urey Hall. Project requirements include the complete renovation of an existing space, including install of new Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems to include new Air Handler, Condensing Unit, exhaust fans and humidifier equipment. Project will require strict environmental controls, including humidity control of less than 45% and temperature control of 70?F +/-1.7?F. Other lab requirements include dry air, N2, Chilled Water and 208V Electrical service. The project’s estimated construction cost is $2,000,000. MANDATORY BID WALK: Mandatory pre-bid conferences (Job walks) for the Bid Packages listed above are scheduled for Monday September 23, 2024 at 8:30 A.M. and Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 2:30 P.M.. Participants shall meet at Urey Hall West Steps located at 9289 S. Scholars Drive, La Jolla, CA 92063. Bidders are required to attend one job walk in order to bid on the project. BID PKG.
