Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Verona, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The purpose of this project is to remove and replace the existing walkway/ramp/stair railings along Allegheny River Boulevard between Maryland Avenue and Delaware Avenue. Work includes removal and off-site disposal of existing railings; patching concrete where existing railing posts were mounted/embedded; and installation of new surface mounted decorative railing system. A separate handrail must be mounted between 34"-38" from walking surface for ramps and stairs. The project includes approximately 1,500 linear feet of railing replacement.
