LAST DAY FOR QUESTIONS: Thursday, July 18, 2024 5:00 PM PST UNLV is seeking an experienced contractor for its office renovation project in the William D. Carlson Education building (CEB) UNLV invites you to submit a Bid on the material and/or services specified within this IFB. Please read carefully all instructions, general terms and conditions, scope of work and/or specifications, Pricing Response Form, Bid Response Form, sample insurance if applicable, and Form Contract, if applicable. Failure to comply with the instructions, terms and conditions, scope of work and/or specifications of the IFB may result in your Bid being declared non-responsive. UNLV is located in the city of Las Vegas and is emerging as a premier urban university. UNLV currently has over 220 undergraduate, masters, and doctoral degree granting programs and serves approximately 30,000 students. Additionally, there are approximately 4,000 faculty and staff. The University's 340-acre campus is located in the southeast part of the City, near the Harry Reid International Airport and the Las Vegas Strip. Scope of Work: Below is a list of the areas included in this scope for reference. A complete set of Construction Documents is provided as Exhibit B, and the full scope of work shall be derived from said documents. o Construct four (4) enclosed offices and a break room in the open space of CEB 118. Provide power, data and in wall insulation, per drawings provided. o Enclose existing door and build new break room (provide cabinetry, power and data per drawings). o Demo connecting door and frame in opening at office 118A and 119A. o Add new opening and door from main corridor into room 119B. Provide power and data as required per drawings provided. o Life Safety Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler systems. Drawings to be provided by Contractor and submitted for permit to State Fire Marshal as a deferred submittal prior to installation. o Provide mechanical modifications per drawings to support new layout. o Provide new transformer and new electrical panel to support new offices per drawings provided. This Project has been estimated to cost approximately $320,000. Completion of this Project must be achieved ninety (90) days of the Notice to Proceed. For Public Works Projects, a Bidder Must Be Qualified as a Bidder With the State Public Works Division of the Department of Administration for the Cost Category Required for the Project.
