Description

Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Bryn Mawr Station is located along Lancaster Avenue between N. Bryn Mawr Avenue and Morris Avenue in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The existing approximate 690 linear feet of painted iron ornamental fence fronts along three sides of the lot and is in need of repair. The repair work includes, but is not limited to, lead-based paint remediation; selective fence component repair, where possible, with component replacement if repair is not viable; selective new fence component fabrication and installation, where missing; surface preparation and painting; and site restoration. The Township will also consider the option for complete fence replacement with a new ornamental fence. Contractors may bid one or both options. Award is planned for September 18, 2024 with Construction Notice to Proceed planned for October / November 2024 pending contract execution. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the "Vendor Discussions" feature in Online. The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of July 26, 2024. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to the best interest of the Township.
