Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Portsmouth, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.

The project is generally described as the regrading, development, and paving of the existing parking lot at the Portsmouth Readiness Center in Portsmouth, VA. Work includes demolition of an existing shed, asphalt drive isles and replacement with concrete and roughing up the existing gravel parking areas and replacing with sealed aggregate parking. All bids SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bid envelopes must be Hand Delivered to the Bid Officer and marked on the exterior (for immediate visual identification) as follows to ensure timely delivery: Attn: Clint A. Bailey Bid enclosed for: Portsmouth Readiness Center - Sustainment - MOV Parking, 23-0002 / 123-B3123-001 A Bid Bond is required. A Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance Bond (DGS-30-084, form CO-10) and a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (DGS-30-088, form CO-10.1) WILL be required regardless of the bid amount. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
