Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Frontenac, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed scope of work includes cold milling and resurfacing the roadway, installing new concrete curb and gutter, new concrete sidewalk including ADA compliant curb ramps, storm sewer, landscaping, pavement markings, traffic signal modifications, and other appurtenances from north of Hermitage Hill Road to Clayton Road and new sidewalk and curb and gutter along Clayton Road from Geyer Road to just west of Spoede Road. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The City of Frontenac reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 10%.
