Project has been rebid Contract consists of the construction of approximately 904 lineal feet of storm sewers, varying in size from 12-inch to 30-inch in diameter, and appurtenances to be constructed. Bid security of not less than 5% of the bid amount required. Completion within 230 calendar days after the start. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, offers or proposals submitted, to accept the proposal it deems to be in its best interest, or to advertise for new bids. The District also reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any proposal and the award and execution of a contract for up to 90 days after bid opening. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (District) has established subcontractor goals for Building Construction (21% MBE and 10% WBE) and Non-Building Construction (10% MBE and 10% WBE) in the amount of $50,000 or more Workforce goal requirements of 37% Minority, 11% Women, and 46% Apprentice (when applicable) apply to contracts in the amount of $500.000 or more. The requirements are further explained in the attached Business Diversity Utilization and Workforce Program document.
