AHU #29 (Old Side)- Replace a 3" chilled water control valve (Owner provided). Replace two 4- inch butterfly Main valves. Replace four 3-inch branch butterfly valves. AHU #30 (Old Side)- Replace a 3" chilled water control valve (Owner provided). Replace two 4- inch butterfly Main valves. Replace four 3-inch branch butterfly valves. AHU #28 - Replace 3" control valve (owner provided) & two 4" butterfly valves. AHU #11- Cut in 2 @ 4" Butterfly valve. AHU #7 - Replace 4" control valve (owner provided) & 4" butterfly valve. AHU #13- Replace two 3-inch Butterfly valves. AHU #13 - Cut in 2 @ 4" butterfly valves. AHU #14- Cut in two 4-inch Butterfly valves. AHU #16- Replace two 3" Vic Butterfly valves w/ Flanges and lugged butterflies. AHU #17 - Cut in 2 @ 4" butterfly valves. AHU #29 (New Side) - Replace 4" control valve w/ new (owner provided) AHU #34 (Old Side) - Replace control valve w/ new (owner provided). Replace two 4-inch butterfly Main valves. Replace four 3-inch branch butterfly valves. AHU #38 & 40 (Ballroom) Replace two 4-inch butterfly Main valves. Replace four 3-inch branch butterfly valves. AHU #12- Replace control valve w/ new (owner provided) All valves provided by contractor unless otherwise noted. All associated welding/labor shall be included in this bid. Bid should include any Freight/shipping costs. Bid shall include all means to demo the old valves and reinstall the new valves. Any rigging needed shall be included in this bid Bid shall include supplying and installing new insulation (removed during valve/coil demo). Valve sizes to be verified by contractor. Contractor will transport all removed materials to MCC provided dumpster Coordinate installation with owner based on event activity This bid shall include any required permits The successful Contractor will be awarded an initial one (1) year contract from the date of the bid event award. This contract may be renewed at the expiration of the initial term at the request of the City. The City reserved the right to extend this contract for two (2) additional 12-month periods if agreeable to both parties The quantities specified in this Contract are estimated only. They may not indicate the actual quantity which will be ordered, since such volume will depend upon requirements which develop during the Contract period. Quantities shown shall not be construed to represent any amount which the City shall be obligated to purchase under the Contract or relieve the Contractor of its obligation to fill all orders placed by the City. The City reserves the right to reject all or any part of any bid, waive informalities, and award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) to best serve the interest of the City. Informality shall mean a minor defect or variation of a bid from the exact requirements of the Request for Bid which does not affect the price, quality, quantity, or delivery schedule for the goods, services or construction being procured. Bidders must submit any questions or request for clarifications regarding the bid documents to the Buyer by Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 2:00 PM (CST). Send all inquiries to the Buyer in writing to: Mallory.Cina@MinneapolisMN.gov All work requested under this Contract shall be placed on a City issued Purchase Order. Contractor shall make all reasonable efforts to submit invoices and documentation in an electronic format, such as PDF or other format compatible with City software capabilities, in lieu of paper invoices and documentation when so requested by City. Upon delivery and acceptance of the service, the Contractor shall submit an invoice detailing the appropriate charges.
