On-Call Planning Services. Scope of Services No specific project is included in this scope of services, and services will be provided on an as-needed basis. The City will be contracting with Proposer(s) to provide on-call planning services to the Community Development Department. Consultants shall furnish all services, materials, supplies, labor, and studies in connection with the work described in this RFP. Services must comply with all applicable laws, including federal, state, and local, as well as City of Garden Grove policies. Proposer(s) selected to provide Planning Services to the Community Development Department will be placed on a pre-approved consultant list and will have the opportunity to provide services to the City on an as needed basis. The City is seeking (a) qualified firm(s) with proven experience in Planning Services to provide staffing support to the City on an as-needed basis. The selected Consultant(s) shall provide the requested services in City Hall located at 11222 Acacia Parkway, Garden Grove, CA 92840, and be readily available to assist the Planning Services Division's customers unless the City directs otherwise. Prepare or assist with the preparation of technical planning staff reports, ordinances/resolutions, legal notices, CEQA documents, and presentations. Perform plan check functions for various projects; review building permit applications for compliance with applicable zoning standards, regulations, policies, approved development plans, conditions of approval and environmental mitigation measures.
