Renovation of a municipal facility in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Eau Claire is requesting Bids for replacement of the City Hall Campus chiller. The existing rooftop air cooled Chiller has served the buildings beyond its manufactured life expectancy. This project replaces the existing system with a new chiller of similar type and design, slightly larger than the old chiller to accommodate an accumulated, over time, increased cooling load from the four City Hall buildings. The project is primarily mechanical work with associated electrical work. Some subcontracted crane services will be needed. Other trades services may be required on a small scale as applied to complete this project. The awarded mechanical contractor will be the prime contractor for the project. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Please contact the City Purchasing Office for questions or additional information.
