DOC NSCF Exterior ADA Upgrades for Buildings and General Services at 2559 Glen Road in Newport, Vermont. This project consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor will be responsible for completing all exterior work that is noted on the drawings and specifications. This includes but is not limited to the following: 1. The concrete ramp leading down from Building A2 exceeds the cross-slope limit. Replace the ramp with one that meets ADA standards. 2. Construct an accessible route to the various outside amenities, including the playing courts and exercise equipment. Install an ADA Compliant asphalt walkway to the lower rec yard. (deduct alternate, just do the 6" of subbase material, no asphalt) 3. Construct ADA accessible routes into B Building's front and back entrance. 4. Construct an ADA accessible route into VCI 2 Building's east (front) entrance. 5. Contractors will be required to pass a background check and review/sign the Prison Rape Elimination Act form.
