As of August 20, 2024, project was awarded to C-Mac Landscaping, LLC but the awarded amount is not available. The Town of Halifax (the Town) is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the removal and replacement of accessible bituminous concrete sidewalks, parking areas and associated minor site work, (the Project) located at the Halifax Council on Aging and Walkways adjacent to the Halifax Public Library. All work to be completed per this IFB is identified as project two (2) in the plan set. Final Date for Questions: July 11, 2024 (by 4:00 pm) Responses to Questions Issued to Bidders: July 15, 2024 (by 12:00 pm Timely Project completion is a priority for the Town, with an expectation that the Project will commence as soon as possible and be completed prior to the first week of September 2024. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than five (5%) percent of the value of the proposed work and made payable to the Town of Halifax. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the bid in a manner which is deemed to be in the interests of the Town
