Inverness Park District is accepting sealed bids for the Inverness Park District Fitness and Tot Lot Project, whichincludes coordination of delivery and unloading of Fitnessand Playground Equipment purchased by the Park District at the site, earthwork with erosion control measuresas required by Park District, Village of Inverness and CookCounty, temporary security fencing, excavation, shapingand compaction, foundations for fitness and playgroundequipment, assembly and installation of equipment, coordination of installation of safety surfacing subbase and surfacing purchased and contracted separately by the ParkDistrict, and site turf restoration. Bids are to be addressed to the Inverness Park District,attn: Nancy DiGioia, Lucia Flanagan, Inverness Park District, 300 N. Highland Road, Inverness, IL and shall bemarked "Sealed Bid- Inverness Park District Fitness andTot Lot Project". The Park District reserves the right to accept or reject allbids, waive technicalities, and select a bid that meets thespecifications required by Park District. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring the payment of current prevailing wages to all laborers, workers and mechanics, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, and the record keeping,submission and inspection requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including the requirement for submission of certified payroll records. All bidders must also comply with the Illinois statutory requirements regardinglabor, including equal employment opportunity laws.
