The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids from qualified firms to provide Refuse and Recycle Removal Service for Southwest Virginia Community College. An Awarded Contract is anticipated to begin December 1, 2024. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide refuse and recycle/removal services at Southwest Virginia Community College (SWVCC) located at 653 Community College Rd, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609, in accordance with the following, or as otherwise stipulated in any Modification to this contract. Contract Term: One (1) year with Six (6) additional, optional one (1) year renewal periods. Work Location: Southwest Virginia Community College (SWVCC) located at 653 Community College Rd, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609 Any inquiries regarding this solicitation should be directed only to Jim Ingold, Purchasing Supervisor Email: jingold@ssc.vccs.edu The purchasing agency reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 60 days written notice to the contractor. In the event the initial contract period is for more than 12 months, the resulting contract may also be terminated by the contractor, without penalty, after the initial 12 months of the contract period upon 60 days written notice to the other party.
