Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Scope of Work Contractor to complete a remote condition assessment of a 24' deep below grade concrete intake chamber with a width that varies from 12'-6" at pump end to 4' at screen end. Four vertical turbine pumps (spaced at 3" centers) are located inside the chamber and are to remain active for the duration of the work. It may be possible to shutdown the pumps for a short duration at the owner's discretion. Access is only available from a single point near the screen end, which is a 2'-6" square hatch in the floor of the pumphouse. Contractor to ensure they minimize disturbances in any sediment at the bottom of the tank, while descending as far as possible to inspect the floor of the tank. The condition assessment is to include a complete inspection of all walls, the floor, the ceiling, and any components inside the chamber. All deficiencies are to be noted and quantified, including concrete deterioration, debris, sediment, corrosion, etc. with a reference to location and size. Contractor to provide the following deliverables: Photos and videos from inspection, with a report outlining any deficiencies observed. An operational work plan, safety plan and equipment cleaning procedure for approval by owner prior to completing the work. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
