Closing Time: 1:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/24 12:00:00 PM NDT Remove the following materials; shingles, all underlayment and eave protection materials, drip edges, flanges and flashings. All materials are to be removed from site and disposed of at an Approved Waste Disposal Site. Remove any affected sections of eavestrough, downspouts and metal fascia where any rot is found and store for later re-installation. Remove all rotted or deteriorated wood fascia boards and roof sheathing and replace with new materials to match existing. Re-install metal fascia, eavestrough and related components after all repairs have been completed. Inspect the entire attic space and replace any wet or deteriorated insulation with new to match. Re-nail existing roof deck, using galvanized nails to penetrate framing by 50mm. Apply Two (2) rows of overlapped eave protection underlayment parallel to eaves and Nova Seal or approved equal as recommended by shingle manufacturer to the remainder of the roof surface. Remove all vinyl siding and related components on the rear dormer at all roof-wall intersections and both chimneys as needed and install new metal step flashings to replace the existing. Refer to Detail #7-102: Roof Wall Intersection with Step Flashing Detail. Re-install the existing vinyl siding and related components back to the original locations. Install new, 30 Year, two tone black, single tab shingles to the entire roof surface. Install shingles using high wind application as per manufacturer's instructions. Install using six nails per shingle complete with new aluminum drip edge around entire perimeter of the building. Replace all existing roof vents, flanges, collars, drip edges and flashings with new to match. Install an additional Four (4) new roof vents on the rear elevation of roof (2 per side/residence). New vents should be installed as per attached Master Specifications. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
