Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a clubhouse / community center; for the renovation of a library; and clubhouse / community center.
Upgrades and expansion to the existing arena. Scope to include: new NHL rink, 7 new changerooms; new even space; gymnasium/dry pad facility; indoor turf facility; new accessible library; and accessibility upgrades. TIMELINE: Plans are conceptual. Feasibility study was completed by the Consultant and presented to Council summer 2025. Council has decided to proceed with the project and has directed staff to determine appropriate capital project delivery methods prior to finalizing the budget. Project is likely to proceed as Progressive Design Build. Further update may be confirmed spring 2026. The provincial government is contributing $10 million.
