Question Deadline 07/12/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Prospective Bidders are required to put all questions, clarifications, or comments in writing and submit online via the Q&A process for this Bid at OC San's System at Online Q&A Yes Bidders are hereby notified that, pursuant to provisions of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Directors of the Orange County Sanitation District adopted the prevailing rate of per diem wages, as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, applicable to the Work to be done for the locality in which the Work is to be performed in compliance with Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California. Bidders shall comply with the registration requirements of Labor Code Section 1725.5. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1771.4, the Work is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Project Duration 1 Year + Four (4) 1-year renewal options Scope of Services This Scope of Work (SOW) describes the scheduled inspection and maintenance required for the Orange County Sanitation District's (OC San's) Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) and battery chargers located within Headquarters, Reclamation Plant 1 (Plant 1), Treatment Plant 2 (Plant 2), and at sixteen (16) remote Pump Stations throughout Orange County. Bids in which the prices obviously are inconsistent may be rejected. The wording of the bids shall not be changed. Any additions, conditions, limitations, or provisions inserted by the Bidder will render the bid irregular and may cause its rejection. OC San reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, extend deadlines, and enter into negotiations with any Bidder. Prior to the award of the Contract, the apparent low Bidder will need to confirm that each line item is at the correct pricing. In the event there is a discrepancy between the submitted bid price and the confirmed price, in comparison to other Bids received, OC San shall have the option to either reject the Bid in its entirety or remove that item from the bid cost.
