Renovation of a fire / police facility in Berry Creek, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,880-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.

The project consists of, but not limited to, the reconstruction of the volunteer fire station located at 297 Rockerfeller Road in Berry Creek California. Replacement fire station to be a pre-engineered metal building, housing a 3-bay apparatus garage (at the west end of the building) and a squad office area at east end, which includes a non-commercial kitchen, bathrooms w/ shower, a control room and utilities/storage room. Scope of work also includes new electrical, mechanical, plumbing, site work repairs, solar power, new septic system and new fire hydrant & water pumps to be connected to existing water tanks. Airvac Exhaust Removal System for apparatus bay(s). Each bid shall be made out on the Bid Form contained in the specifications. A cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid price shall be submitted with the bid as evidence of good faith that the Bidder, if successful, will enter into a Contract satisfactory to the County. The successful bidder, in addition thereto, will furnish Surety Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid covering payment of labor and materials, and one hundred percent (100%) of the bid covering faithful performance. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte reserves the right to reject any or all bids or alternate bids deemed not advantageous to the County of Butte, and to waive any informality in any bid received.
