Site work and paving for a civil project in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Work is to include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, machinery, permits, certificates, licenses, bonds, insurance, supplies, and services to construct a modified left turn lane pocket movement from the northbound lane on Brawley Avenue onto Fountain Way Avenue. Street improvement scope of work includes but not limited to; Over excavation and grading, asphalt and concrete demolition, saw cutting, traffic control, AC paving, signage, new striping configuration, pavement markings, adjusting existing utility manholes to grade. Time of completion for the Project shall be Twenty (20) calendar days from the date established in the Owner's Notice to Proceed. The retention on this project is Five Percent (5%). The bidder shall have a Class "A" license and shall maintain that license in good standing through Project completion and all applicable warranty periods. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof or any authorized postponement thereof. The Owner reserves the right to take more than sixty (60) days to decide regarding the rejection of bids or the award of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity and to reject any or all bids.
