Location of Work The work under Contract No. 2 for Design and Installation of Vehicle Exhaust Extraction System is located at the Clinton County Highway Department, 736 Route 3, Plattsburgh, NY 12901. The Department has a fleet of light, medium and heavy duty vehicles including heavy duty construction equipment that are utilized in this work. The Department maintains the Highway fleet and the fleets of other County Departments in a +-4,280 SF mechanics shop. The Mechanics Shop consists of 4 garage bays, two of which have vehicle lifts, two workbench areas and one welding area. The items of work under Contract No. 2 include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: This project, consists of the design, procurement and installation of a vehicle exhaust welding fumes extraction system in the Mechanics Shop area including all utility services for the systems as well as controls, building modifications and related site work. All work items of the Contracts shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days following the date the Contractor mobilizes the site unless such period is extended by the Owner as provided herein.
