Project has been Cancelled Santa Clara Valley Transportation VTA (VTA) seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide parking operation and management services for the VTA parking facility located at 501 Cinnabar Street in San Jose The scope includes associated staffing, planning, software/hardware/equipment installation, payment collection, operation, citation, maintenance, accounting, and marketing services. It is anticipated that the Facility will provide a minimum 450 parking space capacity for transit users of the nearby San Jose Diridon Station. In addition to proposals for the 501 Cinnabar garage, VTA also welcomes proposals for innovative parking and management solutions at other locations to supplement the Facility, provided the proposal supplies a minimum 450 parking space capacity and meets the requirements of this RFP. Currently, parking for Diridon Station in San Jose is available at surface lots at Cahill Street and Santa Clara Street. These parking lots will cease to operate at the end of December 2024; therefore, the anticipated start date of the parking operation and management services for the Facility is January 1, 2025.
